Q. Why a poll four years before
the next election?
A. Because I'm addicted to politics and so are others.
Q. Umm again, why a poll four years before the next election?
A. Umm face it, some of us voted for a candidate that
didn't get nominated. We have a chance to vote for them again!
Q. Yeah, why is this such a simple one page polling site that uses the services
of other websites?
A. Well because it's just a polling site and those
services are free. I'm not trying to run a major portal here. So
just chill.
Q. You do know these online polls aren't scientific?
A. Duh.
Q. My candidate isn't on the poll,
how do I get them on?
A. Email
mail@strawpoll2012.com
and name your candidate. Serious minded candidates only please. In other
words don't send in Mickey Mouse. The poll gets reset once a month, so
your candidate will be added then. It interferes with the poll to add
candidates mid-month.
Q. I'm finding myself getting completely whacked out and over emotional about
this site, results or other things on here, what do I do?
A. Get therapy. It's only a website.
Q. Why does the header have black
font then purple font and why is this even in the FAQ?
A. Because sometimes in logo design people use different colors to spruce it up
a bit. No I didn't make a mistake, I just thought it be spruced up a bit.
You know add a lil flavor to it! And why did I even put this in the FAQ's?
Because from general online experience, there is always one or two folks who ask
something like that.
Q. Why are there blank columns on the results
section?
A. Because this site will inevitably change in four years with new categories of
things to vote on. So I'm thinking ahead.
